Applications for SchoolTech are now open! Interviews will be conducted between September and November with notification provided to successful applicants by the end of the year.
SchoolTech will commence in semester one as per Education Queensland commencement dates. Applicants are encouraged to complete an
online expression of interest form as soon as possible so processing and interviews can be arranged.
Entry requirements
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- have successfully completed Year 10 or equivalent,
- be at least 15 years of age, and
- demonstrate a minimum standard in literacy and numeracy.
It will also be considered an advantage if you've already completed some work experience in your chosen study area.
Applicants need to complete an
online expression of interest form and attend an interview.
Students and parents/guardians will be required to sign and adhere to the SchoolTech Responsible Behaviour Plan and to the rules governing student behaviour.
Course fees
Once you have received an offer of enrolment into a SchoolTech course, all enrolment documents and course fees need to be presented to the SchoolTech office on enrolment day. (Enrolment day is held at the end of the Year 10 school year).
Alternatively, students can pay a $200 deposit and set up a payment plan for the remaining course fees.
Fees have been set at the following costs:
- Year 11: $250 - payable to Woree State High School
- Year 12: $250 - payable to Woree State High School
